Hi, my name is Deona Madsen. I have been training and instructing horses and riders in several disciplines  for over twenty-five years. I was raised on a ranch that had over twenty head of horses on it at most times. Our horses were used for plowing fields, packing trips into the Cascade Mountains, showing and pleasure riding. We always had a few horses in training and used the older ones to teach other riders horsemanship, riding and care. Both of my parents are horse trainers; I have learned a lot from them and the horses with which I have worked.

     I am working with about twenty-five upcoming pleasure riders, trainers, or competitors in                                      both English and Western disciplines. I am also working with about twenty-two horses and their                                   owners, so that they can have a long, safe, enjoyable relationship.

     I have other trainers working with me that have proven themselves to be well qualified to work with horses entrusted to me. We are working with owners and horses that are starting out on their journey into the equestrian world and to improve those being worked with to enhance their confidence. We are helping them learn the knowledge needed to have a happy safe friendship together with their horse.

     I have several people, each week, ask me if I know of any horses for sale that might fit their needs. This site enables me to put this information in one spot for riders or future riders to view.
